Basketball – The boys will be leaving this Friday, the 9th at 1:00pm to travel to Seneca to take on Faith Baptist. We will return home late that day and contact parents on the way home with estimated arrival times. There is an away game for the girls on the 13th and the Massillon tournament will be the 16th and 17th.
State Police – On Monday, the 12th, we will be having some state police officers here at the school to talk to the students about safety. In today’s day and age, it is a good conversation to have and an opportunity for our students to be around those who protect and serve.
President’s Day – We will not have school on February 19th in observance of President’s Day.
March Madness – Our annual school tournament is coming up on March 2nd. Games will begin at 10:00am and go throughout the day. We are in need of concessions to be donated to help defray the costs to having this event. Please contact us if you are able to provide anything and we can go over the list of needed items.
Olympics – With the winter Olympics starting up this week, we thought it would be a fun idea to have an Olympics of our own. We are going to be dividing the students up into teams this week and have them compete in events over the course of the two weeks in conjunction with the Olympics. We will end our Olympics with the start of Spirit Week on the 26th of the month.
Spirit Week – The week of February 26th will be Spirit Week. We will start the week off with closing ceremonies of our Olympics on Monday. Over the course of the next week, we will announce the rest of the spirit days leading up to the Pep Rally on Friday at 8:45am (which will be team colors, Blue/White/Gray Day).
Box Tops and Chick-Fil-A receipts – Please continue to collect and send in box tops and Chick-Fil-A receipts throughout the year.
