I can’t believe we are nearing the end of this school year! It is exciting being a part of a ministry that is constantly growing and trying to find ways to improve every aspect of your child’s education. I hope you have been getting the announcement texts I have sent from home as I have been recovering. With the number of events coming up, I felt it necessary to do a full newsletter.
TACO TUESDAY – Learning center 2 has earned a taco lunch on Tuesday, May 2nd. We will be providing them with 2 tacos, a snack, and drink.
MERIT TRIP – Students who purchase the merit trip will be going bowling on Wednesday, May 3rd. This will take up about half the day of school.
ACADEMIC RELEASE DAYS – Academic release days are for students who have completed their entire year’s work by May 12th. They are required to be in school on the 11th, but the rest of the year’s school days are not required for those students. This allows staff to concentrate more time on students who may need extra help to finish the year.
KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION – May 11th at 6:00pm is kindergarten graduation. School dress code is required by students attending.
SENIOR GRADUATION – May 12th at 6:00pm will be the senior graduation. School dress code is required by students attending.
AWARDS CELEBRATION – This year, we are going to have an awards celebration on Tuesday, May 23rd, at 6:00pm. We will be handing out academic, sport, and character awards as well as having a fellowship time with refreshments. Students must be present in school dress code to receive their awards, including cash and gift cards. This day is also when we hand out final progress reports.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL – May 23rd is the last day of school for the year and will be an 11:30am dismissal.
ENROLLMENT – Online applications for the new school year are available. The application fee will be waived for returning students through May 12th. After that, the fee will be required to submit your application online. Financial aid and discount applications should be submitted at the same time as the enrollment application in order to process discounts for your account.
