Volleyball – I hope you can come out tonight and cheer on our girls’ volleyball team at Mt Carmel over in Mt Pleasant. The game starts at 5:30pm. Also, please note the time changes for the two Thursday games, the 20th and 27th, as they were moved to 5:30pm here at home. The annual Mother/Daughter game is scheduled for November 1st at 6:00pm.
Practices – There are no sports practices tomorrow. Bowling will still take place on Thursday before the volleyball game.
New Texting System – You will now be receiving texts from 724-571-4345. The testing was successful, and we believe this system will be beneficial to the school.
End of Quarter – October 21st is the end of the first quarter. It is an 11:30am dismissal that day.
Parent Teacher Fellowship – Sunday, October 23rd, from 4pm-6pm will be our annual parent/teacher fellowship. This will be your opportunity to connect with your child’s supervisors and discuss their academic progress through the first quarter. It is also a time to plan for the rest of the school year and discuss graduation projections. It is a great opportunity for fellowship amongst the teachers and parents as no students are permitted to be there. Light refreshments will be provided. Please contact your student’s supervisor if you are unable to attend.
Monday – There will be no school on Monday, October 24th.
Mrs. Hoffer – As many of you know, Mrs. Hoffer will be going in for knee surgery tomorrow. Please pray for her as she recovers over the next several weeks.
