Football – This Friday will be our only home football game versus Harvest Baptist. I hope you will plan to be there and cheer on our young men at 4:30pm.
Volleyball – Our ladies will be going up against Harvest this Friday as well in volleyball. The JV game will start at approximately 5:30pm with a varsity game to follow. Concessions will be available for these games with the featured item being sloppy joes. There is also a home game on the 11th and an away game on the 17th.
Tournament – Coach Rachel Schwender will be sending home details about the tournament in York. The girls going will miss next Thursday and Friday and need to plan their schoolwork accordingly.
Picture Day – This coming Monday, the 10th, will be school picture day. Please see the flier that was sent home for more information. If you did not get the flier, you can text the school phone for another one to be sent home.
New Texting System – Over the course of the next few days, we are going to be testing out a new texting system. This is a mass text system that will also allow responses to come to our email. You will be receiving a test text from 724-571-4345. Once testing is complete, we will contact you and let you know if/when we will make a permanent change.
End of Quarter – October 21st is the end of the first quarter. It is an 11:30am dismissal that day.
Parent Teacher Fellowship – Sunday, October 23rd, from 4pm-6pm will be our annual parent/teacher fellowship. This will be your opportunity to connect with your child’s supervisors and discuss their academic progress through the first quarter. It is also a time to plan for the rest of the school year and discuss graduation projections. It is also a great opportunity for fellowship amongst the teachers and parents as no students are permitted to be there.
