Pizza. This Friday will be a pizza day for lunch. Order slips should be going home by today in order to get the pizza ordered tomorrow.
Casual Day. Friday casual day is for students who have earned privilege. All other students are expected to be in regular school dress. Please check with your student’s supervisor if you have any questions.
Electives. Electives start this week. Learning Centers 1 and 2 will have art, music, and PE on Friday while Learning Centers 3 & 4 will have a mixture of art/convention, personal finance, computer, and PE. During the course of the year, some of the electives will change up, but these are the ones to start. Please make sure students bring PE clothes if they do not wear them for casual day.
Speedy Reader. There will be a separate post regarding Speedy Reader. Many students will be starting the program next week. We will notify parents of those students via pager/text in the coming days.
Sports. The schedule is available on the website. Please note that there is a tournament for both football and volleyball next week that will impact two full school days. The coaches will be sending home a letter detailing what the students will need as well as a timeline of events in the next several days.
We are excited to see God move throughout the student body already this year. Please do not hesitate to ask questions to your student’s supervisor – we want to make sure we all stay on the same page. We are praying for each of you and cannot wait to see what the rest of this year holds!
