The first field trip of the year for this age group will be on October 22nd. Students will be going to the PA Trolley Museum. The cost will be $15 per student. All students going must be registered online with the payment using the link below by the 21st. They will need to bring a sack lunch that day with all disposable containers. The first field trip of the year for this age group will be on October 18th. Students will be going to Bushy Run Battlefield. The cost will be $10 per student. All students going must be registered online with the payment using the link below by the 17th. They will need to bring a sack lunch that day with all disposable containers. The first field trip of the year for this age group will be on November 6th. Students will be going to the Jonstown Flood Museum. This is a no cost field trip, so pre-registration is not necessary. Students will need to show up that day and bring a sack lunch with all disposable containers. Please contact us with any questions. Note that all students at school this day in these grade levels will be going on the trip as no other staff will be available. 

The first field trip of the year for this age group will be on November 5th. Students will be going to the Allegheny Portage Railroad Museum. This is a no cost field trip, so pre-registration is not necessary. Students will need to show up that day and bring a sack lunch with all disposable containers. Please contact us with any questions. Note that all students at school this day in these grade levels will be going on the trip as no other staff will be available. 

Due to security restrictions and space limitations on this first set of field trips, we cannot extend an invitation to parents to attend with us. However, if you are interested in chaperoning on a future trip, please go to the links below and fill out your application for State background check and Child Protection check. These are mandated by the state for volunteers with contact with minors and, as such, we have to require them for adults wanting to attend field trips. Both can be completed for free by selecting the volunteer option. The PA Child Welfare Portal requires you to create a user account if you do not already have one. The final results can be sent into the school so we have record of which parents are cleared to attend these functions. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
