Hero Coloring Contest
The Edgar Snyder law firm is excited to announce that we are once again working with Cam Heyward and The Heyward House to bring the “How to Be a Hero” Coloring Contest to elementary schools in western and central PA!
- One school will receive $2,500
- Four schools will receive $1,000
- Students will win gift card prizes
- The winning artwork will be featured on a billboard in your community
Students should draw “How to Be a Hero,” and their drawing should answer the question: How can I make a difference and make the world a better place? This can be in their community, their school, or their family. It can be a big idea, a simple idea, whimsical, or serious. We want students to be creative and thoughtful. Note: As cute as they are, we aren’t looking for pictures of superheroes like Batman or Superman.
Here’s how your students can participate:
- Entries must be postmarked on or before January 30, 2026 to be eligible.
- Open to students in grades K – 5.
- Entries should be drawn on a piece of plain 11 x 8.5 paper (landscape orientation).
- On the back of each drawing include:
- The student’s name
- Age and grade
- School Name
- Teacher’s name
- Teacher’s phone # and email
- Mail the entries to:
Edgar Snyder & Associates
Attn: Shannon Botts, Marketing
225 North Shore Drive, Suite 200
Pittsburgh, PA 15212
Finalists will be contacted via the contact information on their entry in March and their artwork will be posted on our website for public voting. Winners will be contacted after public voting closes.
