Weather Information
Winter weather delays and cancelations for BBCA go by Derry Area School District. Once we have their info, we try to send a school text to everyone on our newsletter list. Most bus companies will follow the school district you live in (i.e. if Latrobe delays, the bus delays, even if Derry does not). To help ensure students do not have to add make-up days, we have students take home their PACEs when bad weather is expected to do their daily goals. Exceptions to this (i.e. no work or partial work expected) will be noted in the school text that cancels school for the day. If you have any questions about this, please contact the school.
Christmas
Christmas break ends this weekend. Monday starts a new calendar year and a fresh start for many of our students. Several students were able to acheive academic realease days for this week and are not scheduled to start back until Tuesday, January 14th. Supervisors should have cantacted those affected parents in December.
Basketball
Games start this week! I hope you plan to come out and support these young men and women as often as you can. You will find more details about games on the school calendar page.
End of Semester
Friday, January 10th, is the end of the first semester and there is an 11:30am dismissal. There is also no School on Monday, January 13th.
