Convention – If you have not done so, convention paperwork and the registration fee must be turned in by this Friday.
March Madness – Thank you to all those who have already started making plans for donations. We are still in need of monetary gifts and food items. We can also use help in the concession stand. If you can help in any of these areas, please let me know.
Valentine’s Day – Students are more than welcome to bring in Valentine’s Day cards for their classmates. There are 28 students in Learning Center 3, 19 in LC2, 16 in LC1, and 8 Kindergarteners.
Spirit Week – Students are still required to wear clothing that would follow school dress code for a normal day or casual day. The themes of the days will be as follows:
Monday – Multiplicity day.
Tuesday – Cash for Casual day.
Wednesday – Disney day.
Thursday – Superhero day.
Friday – School Spirit day.
School Phone – We have purchased a school cell phone for texting and calling. This will allow parents to contact the school when there is no secretary there or if a supervisor is out. This will make sure you can get a hold of someone in case of emergency. This number is 724-221-0267. If you are not receiving texts from that number, please send a text with your name asking to be added. This is the easiest way to contact someone in the school as it is always monitored. We will no longer be using the Remind service.
Winter Weather – Please remember that our school goes by Derry Area School District for delays and cancelations. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact us so you know how to respond on those days.
Newsletters – We are going to stop sending home paper newsletters to save on the cost of paper. If there is no way for you to get the electronic version we send out, please let us know that you need a paper copy. We will only print by request.
Please continue to send in Box Tops for Education and Chick-Fil-A receipts from Eastgate and Westmoreland Mall. February’s Scripture is I Corinthians 13:4-9.
