It is hard to believe we are in the home stretch of finishing out this school year. Please take special note regarding some of the upcoming events and schedule.
BBCA SUNDAY – This Sunday, March 27th, is BBCA Sunday at Bible Baptist Church. Please plan to come out and support our students who are going to ACE Convention this year. They will be performing many things in the 10:30am service. After the service, there will be box lunches available for $5 each and the always popular Dessert Auction. We are also going to be selling some special Car Wash cards for $15 to help raise a little extra money for these students. All these proceeds go to the convention students!
CONVENTION – Regional Student Convention is April 4th-8th. Students going to convention have been sent home a letter with more details. If you need an additional copy of that letter, please ask!
EASTER BREAK – Thursday, April 14th, is an 11:30 dismissal. Easter Break will continue through Monday, the 18th, with school resuming on Tuesday, April 19th.
STANDARDIZED TESTING – The dates for testing were moved to April 25-28th. This is for all learning center students.
ACADEMIC RELEASE DAYS – Academic release days are for students who have completed their entire year’s work by May 12th. The rest of the year’s school days are not required for those students. This allows staff to concentrate more time on students who may need extra help to finish the year.
KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION – May 12th at 6:00pm is kindergarten graduation.
SENIOR GRADUATION – May 13th at 6:00pm will be the senior graduation.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONVENTION – International Convention will be May 21st-26th. More details will follow for those students.
AWARDS CELEBRATION – This year, we are going to have an awards celebration on Friday, May 27th, at 6:00pm. Students must be present in school dress code to receive their awards. This will also be when we hand out final progress reports.
