Sporting Event Dress Code
In the past, we have used the standard of dress for a school day as the standard for school events, such as basketball games. We have decided to begin to allow more casual dress for after-school sporting events. Girls will now be permitted to wear pants (not leggings or jeggings) to sporting events as spectators. We are asking for parents help in making sure that pants are loose fitting and modest. We are going to use the next few games as a probationary period to make sure our students can follow these guidelines and understand the expectations of modesty. This will not affect the dress code during the school day in any way as we still need to maintain the standard of dress in the classrooms for both academic purposes as well as curriculum discounts from ACE.
